Privacy Policy
1. General
1.1 Denis Koryttsev (here in after “Administration”) provides the mobile/desktop application Charlottie (here in after “Service”).
1.2 This policy informs you (the “User”) of the policies for the collection, use and disclosure of personal information if anyone decides to use this Service.
2. Terms of use of the Service
2.1 The service is provided to users free of charge, with the possibility of gaining access to the advanced functionality of the Service by acquiring the appropriate rights from the Administration.
2.2 By providing the Service to users, the Administration believes that the User:
- has all the necessary rights that allow him to register and use this Service;
- indicates reliable information about yourself in the volumes necessary for using the Service;
- realizes that the information in the Service posted by the User about himself, may become available to other users of the Service and Internet users, may be copied and distributed by such users;
- realizes that some types of information transferred to other Users by it cannot be deleted by the User;
- acquainted with this Policy, expresses his agreement with them and assumes the rights and obligations indicated in them.
2.3 The administration does not verify the accuracy of the received (collected) information about users.
2.4 If you are under the age of sixteen years, prior to using our Service, you must first review the terms of this Privacy Policy with your parent or guardian to make sure that you and your parent or guardian understand its terms and conditions and agree to them.
3. Purpose of information processing
The Administration processes information about Users, including their personal data, in order to fulfill the Administration’s obligations to Users regarding the use of the Service.
4. Composition of information about users
4.1 We may collect your personally identifiable information, including but not limited to, contact information and information about your use of the Service, including your responses and information about your device or platform on which you access the Service. (together, your “Information”).
4.2 Information we get from your use of the Service. When you use the Service, including when you install the App, contact us, e.g., by use of our contact form, subscribe to mailing lists or our beta tester group, through user surveys hosted on our web site and/or otherwise prompted in our Service, or otherwise request communications, or use the App, we may collect the following categories and specific pieces of Information about you: your contact information (i.e., your email address, your name), your IP address, your questions, suggestions, concerns or other kind of feedback, in relation to the Service, your country of residence, length of use of the App, your self-reported skill level and the type of work you do or your occupation.
4.3 Mobile Device Access. We may request Information about, and access or permission to, certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s camera, microphone, sensors, and other features.
4.4 Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the Service.
5. How we use your Information
We may track, measure and/or analyze your Information collected by us.
5.1 Use to provide Service. Your Information may be used or disclosed to facilitate the provision of the Service, such as saving in-progress projects, features used and your app preferences and responding to questions or concerns. We may send updates on the product releases, tips, and editorial about the digital art world.
5.2 Use to improve Service and other business purposes. We may use your Information to improve and optimize our Service, through data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, marketing and your experience, e.g., counting ad impressions, verifying the positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing compliance with this specification and other standards. We use and store this information in depersonalized, aggregated and therefore anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end users and does not include Information. We will not use Information without sufficient legal basis, including, but not limited to, your consent or any other legitimate interest. At our sole discretion, we may grant our beta tester group access to pre-releases of our App for testing and feedback.
5.3 Use to monitor and safeguard Service. We may use your Information to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), monitor traffic patterns, usage of Service and related information, e.g., debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality; activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of the Service; detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecuting those responsible for that activity.
5.4 Use for marketing and promotions. We and/or our third-party marketing partners may use the Information collected by us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. For example, when expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our Service, subscribing to receive marketing communications or otherwise contacting us, we will collect Information from you. You can opt-out of our marketing communications at any time.
5.5 Other business purposes. We may use your Information for other operational purpose that is compatible with the context in which your Information was collected.
6. Processing information about users
6.1 Information about users is stored on the Firebase platform provided by Google on servers located in the United States. You can read the privacy policy of this platform at: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/.
6.2 All processing of user data is carried out using electronic means of storage and automation.
6.3 Information about users is not transferred to any third parties, with the exception of:
- providing personal data of Users at the request of state authorities;
- as part of services: Google Admob, Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
7. Security
7.1 The Administration of the Service appreciates your Personal Information, and strives to use modern means of protection. At the same time, the User must be aware that no method of data transfer via the Internet, no method of electronic storage is 100% safe and reliable, and the Service Administration cannot guarantee its absolute safety.
7.3 The User agrees not to use hacked devices to access the Service.
8. Changes to this Policy
The Service Administration reserves the right to change/update this Privacy Policy, therefore it is recommended to periodically review this page for changes. These changes take effect immediately after they are published on this page. Continued use of the Service by the User after making changes and/or additions to this Policy means acceptance and consent of the User to such changes and/or additions.
